LOVESKIN COVID 19 Update - August 2020
UPDATE: 1 September 2021
We will continue to operate with contactless order preparation, collection and delivery at Level 3.
We are currently dispatching orders on Monday, Wednesday and Friday to ensure we can maintain safe distancing between our packing team members. You will receive automated email updates from NZPost, informing you of the progress of your parcel through their delivery network.
Please be prepared for some freight delays due to additional safety measures within the NZPost system at this time.

LOVESKIN is fortunate to be able to continue operating our business from our home based premises during this time. We haven’t made this decision lightly and we are very aware that there are so many businesses that are not able to continue operating and our hearts go out to them.
Last year when we went to Alert Level 4 we called the government helpline to get confirmation about whether we could continue operating and they confirmed we could for the reasons outlined below so, as we move to Alert Level 4 we will continue operating unless we are told otherwise.
We are able to continue operating while we are in full isolation during lockdown. Couriers will be picking up and dropping parcels off with contactless delivery & pick up and we will be working in total isolation from our home.
We appreciate your patience and support while we navigate our lives and business during this unsettling time.
Will there be delays to orders being sent out?
We use NZ Post to deliver your orders, and as they are part of essential services that will continue to operate, we can continue to deliver your orders. They are still available for business and domestic courier needs and have advised they have capacity to continue to welcome our business.
It is possible that due to increased demand for courier services, possible staff shortages and the need for social distancing for courier services that there may be some delays to orders being delivered.
Is it safe to receive packages?
Yes, NZ Post have received advice that indicates that the risk of transmission of COVID-19 through mail and parcels is low. COVID-19 is largely transmitted by respiratory droplets, so while surface transmission may be possible there is not good evidence that this is occurring to any extent in operational environments where physical distancing, use of face masks, hygiene and safety work procedures and environmental factors are considered.
