Good skin shouldn’t come at the expense of good decisions.
At Loveskin, sustainability is approached through choice in ingredients, formulation, packaging, and how our products are used over time.
We focus on thoughtful materials, considered design, and improving what we do as better options become available.
Packaging
Our primary packaging is glass — chosen for its quality, stability, and recyclability within New Zealand systems.
We recommend rinsing bottles and separating components (pipettes and lids) before placing the glass into your kerbside recycling.
Some smaller components are not currently recyclable through local systems. Where this is the case, we aim to balance functionality with more responsible material choices over time.
Reusing and recycling
We encourage you to keep your bottles and and dispenser tops and reuse them where possible.
Reuse with refills
Refill options allow you to reuse your existing dispenser tops rather than replace them.
We offer a refill version of 30ml/50ml/100ml serums, mists and cleansers which come with a plain aluminium cap. Save your pump/mist dispenser from your previous order and reuse it. The refill aluminium cap can then be recycled.
Recycling your packaging
To recycle, we recommend rinsing bottles, removing the pipette or lid, and placing the glass bottle into your kerbside recycling. Lids and pipettes should be disposed of separately, as these are not currently recyclable through most local systems.
For those who prefer not, or can't, reuse or recycle at home,we offer a return option. Once you have a minimum of 3 empty bottles, we can arrange a return label within New Zealand. Returned packaging is assessed for reuse where possible, or responsibly processed.

Our formulations use high-quality, responsibly sourced ingredients, with organic and fair trade materials used wherever possible.
Each ingredient is selected for both its efficacy on skin and its origin.
At Loveskin, we source locally and choose to extract our own oils and botanicals where possible.
