Cleansing and gentle exfoliation are important steps in your skincare routine. Loveskin muslin face cloths provide a very gentle exfoliating action that helps the skin to function properly and absorb moisture more effectively so that tight, flaky skin will be a thing of the past.

Three muslin cloths should be used in rotation with your cleanser. Replace after 2-3 uses.

Washing Your Muslin Face Cloths

  1. Gentle dycle: Always use the gentle or delicate cycle on your washing machine to minimize stress on the delicate muslin fabric. 

  2. Mild detergent: Opt for a mild detergent that is free from harsh chemicals and fragrances to prevent any irritation to your skin.

  3. Avoid fabric softeners: Do not use fabric softeners or dryer sheets. Muslin naturally becomes softer with each wash, making additional softeners unnecessary.

  4. Lukewarm water: Use lukewarm water for washing, to 40c. Hot water can shrink the muslin fabric and weaken its fibers.

  5. Air drying or low heat in dryer: The best method to dry your muslin cloths is by air drying. After washing, gently squeeze out excess water (do not wring or twist), and lay them flat or hang them up in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.

    If using a dryer, select a low heat setting. High heat can damage the fabric and cause shrinkage. Ensure the cloths have enough room to tumble freely. You can also add a clean, dry towel to help speed up the process and reduce wrinkling.
