Hana Glacial Clay Mask is a mineral-rich, bentonite-based clay mask designed to clarify, smooth and rebalance skin that feels oily, congested, dull or uneven.

Unlike old-school clay masks that leave skin tight and stripped, Hana is designed to be used with intention. Bentonite clay has natural adsorption properties, meaning it helps attract and bind excess oil, surface impurities and buildup from the skin — rather than “pulling toxins” from deep within the skin.

Used correctly, Hana helps refine the look of pores, reduce the appearance of excess shine and leave skin feeling clean, fresh and smoother. The fine mineral texture also gives a gentle polishing effect as you rinse, helping skin feel softer and more even.

The key is not to let it fully dry, crack or pull tight. Leave on for 5–10 minutes, or up to 15 minutes maximum, then rinse while the mask is still slightly damp. Follow with hydration and nourishment to keep skin balanced.

CLEANSE

• First Cleanse your skin, using your LoveSkin Tui Cleanser

PREPARE

• Add two scoops of clay + one scoop of water to your LoveSkin bowl

• Use your brush to mix to a smooth texture, taking care to remove any clumps

• Once combined add 2 - 3 drops of your favourite LoveSkin serum to the mask mixture

APPLY

• Using your LoveSkin brush, apply the mask in an even layer to your cleansed face, taking care to avoid your eyes & mouth

• Allow 10 - 15 minutes for the mask to partially, but not completely dry.

• Remove with a warm, damp facecloth

HYDRATE

• Apply your favourite LoveSkin Serum

Do not allow the mask to fully dry, crack or pull tight. Rinse while still slightly damp using warm water and gentle circular motions.

Follow with mist, serum or facial oil.

For congested or acne prone skin

We recommend trying your Hana mask mixed with a couple drops of your Kiri Aroha facial serum or else water. Apply for up to 10-15 minutes but rinse before fully dry. 

For sensitive or dry skin

Use for a shorter time, around 3–5 minute or ideally combine with our Waiwai facial oil instead of water.  Do not let the mask dry completely. Follow immediately with a hydrating mist and nourishing facial oil.

How often

Use 1–2 times weekly, depending on your skin type. Oily or congested skin may prefer weekly use. Dry or sensitive skin may prefer occasional use only.

For external use only. Avoid the eye area. Patch test before use. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
